Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We serve hot meals and nutritional snacks. We understand the importance of eating healthy and that many families are crunched for time at dinner. This is why our menus reflect a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables several times a week, whole grains on a daily basis, limited refined sugar snacks and cereals, reduced fat milk, and home cooked, homestyle meals. In fact, our center limits processed foods to a maximum of twice a week often only serving them once! We operate off of a 6 week rotating menu and do not repeat the lunch meal during this rotation. We offer a variety of ethnic meals, allowing children to experience different food types, textures and taste. Our location is equipped with a full-service kitchen, chef, and staff trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children.
If your child is enrolled in a full time program and they are out of school for a full week (5 days) you pay 1/2 price tuition. This is allowed for up to 6 weeks per year. Teachers or employees for CFISD or other local schools receive full credit when out during school holidays.
